Meet Christie Conley

My professional journey as a nurse started in 2004 as an associate degree RN in the field of neonatal ICU. I continued my education obtaining my bachelor’s in nursing, followed by a master’s in nursing with a concentration in family medicine. I obtained a post-master's certification in adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. I have worked in the field of oncology, predominantly bone marrow transplant, for 17 years. In the world of Oncology dealing with mental health regarding depression and anxiety make up a large component of what I do daily. Proper nutrition is also a big obstacle my patients face, being there to support them through that journey is one of the best aspects of my career.
Weight loss is a daunting task. Most people struggle with it, including me. There is so much information out there that it is hard to know what advice to follow.
My goal when starting this company was to make the idea of weight loss less scary and less confusing. We have better tools now which include medications that are very successful in lowering our BMI. Getting your BMI in a safer range will improve or lessen your risks of developing secondary complications from obesity, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes. My biggest and most important roles in life are being a wife and a mother to two children. Getting myself on a better health journey and lowering my BMI is essential in making sure I can continue those roles.
I know firsthand how hard it is to face and overcome the obstacles that lead to obesity. Another goal with this company is to help others overcome their obstacles. We can do this together; we can reach our goals!
